Md. Mainul Haque has been elected as the President and Md. Golam Kibria as the General Secretary in the annual executive council election-2026 of the Officers Association of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET).
The executive committee election-2026 was held on Thursday, December 11 from 9 am to 1:10 pm at the meeting room of the university’s Officers Association club.
In the election, SM Saifur Rahman was elected as Vice President, Md. Rabiul Islam as Deputy General Secretary, Md. Zahidul Islam as Organizing Secretary, Md. Helal Fakir as Sports, Literature and Cultural Secretary, Md. Kamrul Islam as Social Welfare Secretary, Sheikh Zahid Hossain as Office and Publicity Secretary, Md. Nazim Uddin as Information and Technology Secretary, MM Rabiul Islam Shuvo as Legal Affairs Secretary, Md. Shahidullah Azam as Treasurer, G. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Sadek Hossain Pramanik were elected as members. Sheikh Abu Hayat served as the Chief Election Commissioner in the election and Mina Monirul Islam, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Kausar Ahmed, Md. Johur-uz-Zaman served as Election Commissioners.
