A combination of student politics-free environment, a course without session congestion and a beautiful campus surrounded by natural beauty – Khulna University, the largest higher education institution in the southern region, has been developed.
As the only government university in the country, where teaching and examinations are conducted regularly in one calendar divided into two terms – January-June and July-December – according to the prescribed schedule. As a result, students are able to complete the undergraduate/graduate (honors) course in the prescribed four years. Therefore, there is great interest in this higher education institution from far and wide.
On Sunday, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim witnessed the admission process of the first year of undergraduate/graduate (honors) of Khulna University for the academic year 2024-25. At this time, he spoke to the students and guardians who came to take admission. Students and guardians from far and wide were impressed by the sincerity of the Vice-Chancellor and expressed their interest in Khulna University.
Akil Mahmud, a student from Nilphamari in North Bengal, said, “There is no student politics in Khulna University, which is a very good thing. When I came here, I saw a clean campus. It was like a beautiful scene. Such a beautiful natural environment would attract anyone.”
Ayesha Tahrin, a student from Dhaka, told a different story. According to her, the environment of Khulna University is very different from other universities. The teachers are quite sincere about the students’ studies and research. Also, since there are no session jams, students dream of studying at Khulna University.
Amir Hossain, a guardian from Natore, said that his daughter has wanted to get admitted to Khulna University since she was a child. As guardians, we want our children to study in an environment where there is no hassle, there is security, and they can study with concentration. Khulna University can be an example in this case. Students who graduate from here are in a good position in the country. We can learn about these positive aspects through them.
Rabeya Begum, a guardian from Joypurhat, said, Khulna University has a good reputation in all fields due to its conducive environment for education. We can safely stay at home by admitting our daughter here. The interest is a little higher because there is no student politics and session jams. However, the natural environment here is also beautiful.
Kakan Akhter from Pirojpur said, the education here is very good. The teachers are very sincere, classes are held regularly, and the environment is also quite peaceful. Studying in such a place makes it possible to achieve good results and also stay mentally healthy.
