Dhallywood actress Mahiya Mahi returned to shooting last year with Mustafizur Rahman Manik’s movie ‘Dark World’. That return was not pleasant for her. After shooting for one day, Mahiya Mahi withdrew from the movie after being huffed of the producer and hero Munna Khan.
Munna Khan told the media in an interview that his first choice in this movie was Pori Moni as the heroine. Mahiya Mahi was finalised when Pori Moni
was unable to do the movie.
Mahiya Mahi did not take Munna’s comment well. Mahi then decided not to do the movie. As a result, the director and
producer of the movie were in trouble and then they stopped shooting the movie.
The shooting of the movie ‘Dark World’ is starting again
with the finalisation of the new heroine after the shooting was stopped for almost three months. Tollywood’s actress Koushani Mukherjee will shoot this movie instead of Mahiya Mahi.
This was confirmed by the director of the movie Mustafizur Rahman Manik and producer Munna Khan yesterday.
Koushani will come to Dhaka today. She will participate in the shooting of the movie from Sunday. This was informed by director Manik on Friday.
Director Manik told this correspondent, “The shooting of the rest of the movie ‘Dark World’ will start from February 4 in Dhaka. Koushani will be shooting from the first day. I hope to finish the movie by shooting continuously.”
Producer of the movie, Munna Khan said, “Koushani Mukherjee liked the story of the movie very much. All the formalities have already been completed with
her. She will be shooting from the first day of the last lot.”
Producer Munna also said that the press conference of the movie ‘Dark World’ will be organised
on February 12. Koushani and the crew of the cinema will speak to the media there. Koushani will play the role of a police officer in the movie. Munna Khan is hero
of Koushani in the movie.
The film also features Misha Sawdagor, Deepa Khandakar, Shiba Shanu, among others.
It is noted that Koushani Mukherjee worked in a Dhallywood movie in 2021. Shanto Khan was her hero in Shapla Media’s this movie ‘Priya Re’. But the movie is not released yet. Koushani started working
in another movie titled ‘Dhandha’ of same production house. Tollywood’s actor Bonny Sengupta was opposite Koushani in this movie directed by Shamim Ahmed Roni. Shapla Media
has not completed the work
of this movie.
This time Koushani will
definitely want to finish the movie ‘Dark World’ well and come in front of the audience
of Bangladesh.
