National Film Award–winning singer Dilshad Nahar Kona is currently enjoying a delightful phase in her musical career.
Following the massive success of her song ‘Dushtu Kokil’, the demand for her performances at stage shows both at home and abroad has increased significantly.
In the meantime, Kona has completed work on several original songs. Recently, she lent her voice to a new track titled ‘Noyoner Alo’.
The lyrics were written by Salma Sultana, with music composed by Shafiq Tuhin. Both Kona and Shafiq Tuhin performed vocals for the song, while Salman Zayem handled the music arrangement.
Speaking about the song, Kona said, ‘I can’t recall exactly how many years it’s been since I last sang a song composed by Shafiq Tuhin. But after a long time, I got the opportunity to sing to his tune again.
Recently, the respected Runa Laila madam also recorded a song composed by him, which I really liked. Likewise, I loved Noyoner Alo very much. The title itself is beautiful, and so are the lyrics. ’
It is worth mentioning that ‘Noyoner Alo’ is also the title of a popular and commercially successful Bangladeshi film directed by Belal Ahmed, starring Zafar Iqbal, Kajori, and Suborna Mustafa. Many of the songs from that film became memorable hits among audiences.
