Dilshad Nahar is the most reliable singer in Bangladesh’s movie songs at the moment. She has made her songs indispensable in movies with her singing. That’s why movie-loving audiences consider Kona’s song in the movie as a
blessing for the movie. As usual it happened in last Eid in the movie ‘Toofan’
starring Shakib Khan.
The song titled ‘Dushtu Kokil’ in the voice of actress Mimi Chakraborty in the movie ‘Toofan’ directed by Raihan Rafi, which created a storm in the hearts of the listeners of all Bengal.
That song is sung by the playback singer Dilshad Nahar Kona who is the best artiste of this generation.
Let’s say that after a break for some time, the song ‘Dushtu Kokil’ came as a blessing for Kona’s career.
The calculation of movie songs is very different. Although modern songs are popular, their popularity is not as wide as movie songs.
Before the release of the movie ‘Toofan’, the word ‘Kuk Kuk Kuk’ of the song ‘Dushtu Kokil’ has spread like a storm on various platforms.

Kona told this correspondent in reference to one of her songs, “Earlier, many of my songs have been lip-synched by the popular heroines of Bangladesh. Subhasree Ganguly of Kolkata has also lip-synched my song. However, I did not know that Mimi Chakraborty will lip-synched my song in the movie ‘Toofan’. What I like more than that is that our pride, our superstar Shakib Khan has performed in this song. Mimi and Sakib Khan’s impeccable performance in this song has made the song more acceptable to the audience. That’s what I got. Thanks to the entire ‘Toofan’ team including Raihan Rafi. I gave gratitude to my audience. And what kind of movie is ‘Toofan’ – it is not really expressed in words, if you want to understand; you have to go to the theatres.”
It is noted that the song ‘Dushtu Kokil’ is jointly written by Akassh Sen and Priyo Chatterjee and composed by Akassh Sen.
