Dilshad Nahar Kona, a popular, top and busy musician in this country of present time, usually sings her own songs in stage shows.
However, in addition to this, Kona occasionally sings folk songs at the request of the audience.
In that case, Kona would sing songs by the mysterious poet Hason Raja or the ‘Baul Emperor’ Shah Abdul Karim to the audience in stage shows.
She also often sings Hason Raja’s song titled ‘Baula Ke Banailore Hason Rajare Baula Ke Banailo’ in stage shows. This song was released a few days ago on RTV’s ‘Folk Station-Season-6.’
Directed by Nur Hossain Hira, the song, written and composed by Hason Raja, has been newly arranged by Zico Ghosh.
After the release of this song, another folk song was released in Kona’s voice. This song titled ‘Sokhi Tora Prem Korisna’ of Baul Emperor Shah Abdul Karim was written and composed by Shah Abdul Karim himself. Adib Kabir has arranged music of this song. Zooel Morshed is the head of this project.

Meanwhile, April 15 was Kona’s birthday. Her friends filled her first moment on her birthday with surprise and joy.
Kona was very happy to receive a surprise from her friends when she returned home.
Kona celebrated her birthday with great fanfare with her dear friend, who had come from Canada after a long time.
Meanwhile, on April 18, Kona performed in a show at the Engineering Institution in the capital.
On April 24, she will be singing at a stage show in Cox’s Bazar. She will also sing at a stage show in Dhaka on April 26.
The singer will then depart for Saudi Arabia on April 29. After performing at a show there, Kona will return to Dhaka on May 2.
Regarding the two folk songs and the birthday celebrations, Kona told this correspondent, “We, the musicians, have made a very good musical arrangement of the song ‘Baula Ke Banailo’ by the revered mystic poet Hason Raja. That’s why I perform this song whenever the topic of folk songs comes up on any show. I fell in love with this song after Zico Ghosh re-arranged it for me. That’s why I sang the song for RTV. And I had composed the song ‘Sokhi Tora Prem Korisna’ long ago. The video for the song was suddenly completed on April 12. I feel good about releasing two folk songs in a row. And this year, I gave more time to my parents on my birthday. Because I think I try to give a little more time to those for whom I see the light of the world, to those for whom I see the face of success in life. And this year’s birthday is a little more special because of my friend Mustaiza.”
