An army operation in the remote hills of Ruma upazila, Bandarban, left two members of the Kuki Chin National Army (KNA) dead, including one of their commanders.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the information in a press release issued Thursday morning.
According to the ISPR, the army seized three submachine guns (SMGs), one rifle, and various other weapons and ammunition during the operation.
The operation was still underway at the time of the statement’s release.
