Kishoreganj observes Land Services Week

The nationwide land services week-’24 begins on Saturday with the theme ‘Smart land services, Smart Citizens’. In Kishoreganj, District Administration on Saturday arranged a colourful rally, discussion and cultural function marking the day.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kishoreganj, Md.Abul kalam Azad attended as chief guest and Police Super( SP) Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PMM (Bar), BPM (Sheba), Zila Parishad chairman, also District Awami League president advocate Zillur Rahman and Civil Surgeon Dr. Saiful Islam as special guests, while ADC (Revenue) A.T.M Farhad Chowdhury in the chair.
DC in Kishoreganj, Md. Abul Kalam Azad said that people are getting land records easily as a result of record room automation. Hundred percent land mutation online is in process at present. There will be no need for manual land survey upon successful implementation of digital land survey.
Zila Parishad chairman Advocate Zillur Rahman called for ensuring people-friendly land services after the best use of modern information communication and technologies. On the occasion, some officials and staff were given awards as recognition for their laudable services and performance in this field.
