The JC Agro Farm in Kishoreganj’s Karimganj has been awarded ‘Dairy Icon’. Minister of Fisheries and Livestock Md. Abdur Rahman, MP on the occasion of World Milk Day handed over the crest and memento to the Executive Director Umme Hani Chandni of JC Agro Farm, Karimganh at the Krishibid Institute in the Capital on Saturday.
The Prime Minister’s personal physician Emeritus Prof Dr. ABM Abdullah was present as the main speaker. Besides, Secretary of Fisheries and Livestock Ministry Syed Mahmud Belal Haider was present as a special guest, while Director General (DG) of Directorate of Livestock, Md. Riazul Haque in the chair
Later, JC Agro Farm Chairman, Md. Ershad Uddin, also ruling Awami League leader, is a resident of Niamatpur Rouha village of Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj He is the President of Bangladesh Millscale Re-Process and Exporters Association. This time also Ershad sailing milk at Tk. 10 throughout Ramadan.
Umm Hani Chandni, executive director of JC Agro Farm, said that the Ministry of Animal Husbandry has given this honor to JC Agro Farm for its contribution at the national level by choosing between thousands of farms in the country.
Company Chairman Ershad Uddin said that we have tried to work on how to contribute at the national level from the beginning.
We have always been working in milk and meat production at the national level starting from employment through this organisation.
