Bashundhara Kings, five times champions in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football have been billed in Group-B of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge League. The other teams, which have been placed in Group-B with Bashundhara Kings, are: Al Seeb Club of Oman, Al Ansar FC of Lebanon and Kuwait FC of Kuwait.
The draw ceremony of the AFC Challenge League was held at the AFC Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia on Thursday.
A total of 20 teams dividing into five groups will compete in the single league basis competition.
Bashundhara Kings will take on Al Seeb Club of Oman in their first Group-B match on October 25, Bashundhara Kings will face Al Ansar FC of Lebanon in their second Group-B match on October 28, Banshundhara Kings will meet hosts Kuwait FC of Kuwait in their third Group-B match on October 31.
Bashundhara Kings edged past Al-Karamah SC of Syria 1-0 in the preliminary round match on August 12 which was held in Qatar. By virtue of that victory, Bashundhara Kings qualified for the group stage.
