Our Feni Correspondent : Feni police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested 23 criminals allegedly involved in yesterday’s brutal killing of Fulgazi Upazila Parishad chairman Ekramul Haque Ekram. Ekram was shot in side his car and burnt to death as miscreants torched his vehicle in front of Bilashi Hotel in Feni Sadar at about 11:00am on Tuesday.Feni police, in a drive last night, have arrested 23 suspected criminals from the different parts of the city, Mahbub Morshed, officer in charge of Feni Sadar Police Station told The New Nation in the morning.“The arrestees are under interrogation. We are trying to unearth the clue of the killing by quizzing them,” he added.
