There is a lot of curiosity among the political analysts in international arena to know who will be the next Prime Minister of Israel succeeding Benjamin Netanyahu, whose fate is now hanging in the balance while opposition parties are getting more determined to oust him. His greed for power verges on insanity. He is seen as a Jewish Hitler. The last war with Gaza was motivated by him to show string he is defending Israel. He was ruthless in bombing Gaza and killed more than two hundred men, women and children. He must be ousted from power to face criminal charges including genocide in Palestine.
The latest trend of Israel’s domestic politics indicates that former special force commando turned tech-millionaire and also Yamina party leader Naftali Bennett is likely to get Prime Minister’s job in a final hour decision before deadline expires today (Wednesday).
Mr Bennett, 49, though thinks that creation of a Palestinian State would be suicidal for Israel in terms of security reasons, even then he is the most predictable person in Israel and abroad to save his country from possible disaster. He has already joined hands with his political rivals — left-wing and centrist parties — offering them inclusion in the new coalition for forming a “government of change”. He is also trying to get support from Arab Muslim legislators to sustain majority in Knesset, the Israel’s unicameral parliament.
Usually, the common Israeli citizens, especially activists of left political parties and human rights organizations, do not support Netanyahu. Israel is a country always at war because that helped him get billions of dollars to waste and lethal weapons to fight wars. Netanyahu’s democracy is a sham. Israel under his leadership has become an unstable country surrounded by powerful Muslim countries. Only the US protection mattered.
We’re optimistic that the new unity government will be sensible and not be playing about the US arms to be personally gained to make the Israeli people to live in constant war. The new change should mean change in the political thinking that the US will not be able to save Israel if it does not know what to do in Israel’s best interests.
