BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain on Friday said the health condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is now stable.
“Overall health condition of our Madam (Khaleda Zia) is stable now. Her condition has improved compared to when she was admitted to the hospital,” Dr. Zahid, told journalists after placing a floral wreath at the grave of BNP Founder Shaheed President Ziaur rahman along with the leaders and activists of Diploma Association of Bangladesh in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
The former Prime Minister was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday night for her routine health check-ups. Dr. Zahid also personal physician of BNP Chairperson, said, Begum Khaleda Zia will return home after other necessary medical tests and following her medical board’s decision.
Begum Khaleda Zia is now 79 year-old has long been suffering from various health complications, including diabetes, arthritis, kidney, eye and lung complexities.
