Former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to travel abroad for medical treatment.
Khaleda Zia’s Personal Physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain on Tuesday told the media that Khaleda Zia will first travel to London to meet her son, Tarique Rahman.
He said, “Preparations are underway to take Khaleda Zia abroad for advanced medical treatment. She will first be transported to London via a long-distance specialised air ambulance. Following that, she will be transferred to a multidisciplinary medical centre in a third country.
“Preparations have begun to expedite Khaleda Zia’s transfer to a multidisciplinary hospital abroad, depending on her physical health. As part of this process, they have started working on hiring a long-distance specialised air ambulance and are currently in contact with the service providers.”
