NN Online:

NCP Member Secretary Akhter Hossen said on Tuesday that despite 54 years of independence, Bangladesh has yet to realise the key principles of the Liberation War – equality, human dignity, and social justice.

He made these remarks on Tuesday morning when the party’s leaders and activists paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial.

Speaking at the event, Akhter emphasised that the party is committed to realising the three core goals of the Liberation War. He also noted that the NCP has additional proposals aimed at fostering national development.

“We, the leaders and activists of the NCP, are dedicated to building the Bangladesh envisioned in 1971—one of equality, human dignity, and social justice. The NCP will continue to work towards realising that vision, and we have numerous proposals for the entire region of Bengal to ensure Bangladesh stands proudly on the global stage,” he added.
