Noted actress Kabori’s last film was ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’. However, she couldn’t complete the film.
She died in 2021 while some parts of the shooting were still pending. After Kabori’s death, her son Shaker Chishti completed the production of the film.
Shaker Chishti has completed the work on the movie ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’ in 2023. Now it is time for the release.
However, Shaker Chishti is trying to screen it at international film festivals in different countries before releasing it in the country.
He has already submitted the movie to several international festivals. After that, he will plan to release it in the country’s theatres.
Shaker Chishti told the media that completing the film was a challenge for him. In this regard, he said, “Finishing my mother’s unfinished work was a big challenge for me. I finished the work in a short time.
I have submitted the film to a few international festivals outside the country. The film will be released in the country if it is screened at those festivals.”
However, Shaker Chishti didn’t say exactly when the film will be released in the country.
He said that everything depends on the international screening of the film ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi.’
In addition to directing, Kabori wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues of the movie ‘Ei Tumi Sei Tumi’. Two periods are highlighted in this movie.
Along with the story of the present day, the story of the Bangladesh Liberation War will be revealed.
Nishat Nawar Salwa and Raihan Riyad have played two lead roles in the movie.
