And my performance in the role of Bangamata was so natural that she could not distinguish.

Everyone in the Censor Board was emotional to watch the movie. I was very happy to hear that a small movie can make such a big mark on people’s minds.

When I was doing a lot of work, sometimes I would get such a call from the panel, I would be encouraged. I hope everyone can understand the reason to be more happy.”

Joyti also said that the Ministry has already taken some steps to screen the movie ‘Bangamata’ across the country.

Meanwhile, ‘Bangamata’ will be screened today (August 8) in all institutions under the Ministry of Culture, including all Shilpakala Academies across the country.
