A training session for jute and jute seed producers was held at PirganjUpazila under Thakurgaon district on Thursday. The training was jointly organized by the Upazila Administration and the Jute Department under the Advanced Technology-Based Jute and Jute Seed Production and Extension Project at the Upazila Auditorium.
Upazila Executive Officer RakibulHasan, Jute Department Deputy Project Director Syed Faruk Ahmed, Agricultural Extension Department Deputy Director Majedul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer NazmulHasan, Agricultural Extension Officer IsratJahan Lima, District Jute Officer Dilip Kumar Malakar, Deputy Assistant Jute Officer Rabiul Islam, and others spoke at the event. A total of 75 farmers received training during the session.
