Jute farmers training at Thakurgaon

A training session for jute and jute seed producers has been held at Pirganj Upazila
under Thakurgaon district. The training was jointly organized by the Upazila
Administration and the Jute Department under the Advanced Technology Based
Jute and Jute Seed Production and Extension Project on Thursday at the Upazila
Auditorium. Upazila Executive Officer Rakibul Hasan, Jute Department Deputy
Project Director Syed Faruk Ahmed, Agricultural Extension Department Deputy
Director Majedul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Nazmul Hasan, Agricultural
Extension Officer Israt Jahan Lima, District Jute Officer Dilip Kumar Malakar,
Deputy Assistant Jute Officer Rabiul Islam and others spoke at the event. 75
farmers received training in the jute training.
