A Jubo Dal activist has been severely injured by hacking in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur.
The activist named Rakib Hossain Bishal is being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Mohammadpur Police chief Mezbah Uddin said the incident took place on Babar Road around 5:45pm on Saturday.
Two people named Md Naeem and Md Rajib have been arrested in this incident, he added.
He also said Rakib was attacked “over past enmity”.
“Immediately after the incident, a patrol team of Mohammadpur Police Station went to the spot and arrested two people. The injured is known to be involved in politics at Adabor Thana Jubo Dal.”
