The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Thursday observed the Martyred Intellectuals Day with due respect and befitting manner.
Marking the day, JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Nurul Alam placed a floral wreath at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Memorial around 8.30am.
JU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Sheikh Md Manzurul Haque, dean of different faculties, proctor, provosts of different dormitories and teachers of different departments, among others, were present.
