The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Women and Children Affairs Ministry today suggested for further expansion of the children affairs activities through Shishu Academy across the country.
The parliamentary watchdog made the recommendation at its 20th meeting held at the Sangsad Bhaban with committee chairman Meher Afroze Chumki in the chair, said a press release here.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on progress of implementation of the decisions taken in the last meeting.
Committee members Shabnam Jahan, Begum Lutfan Nesa Khan, Syeda Rashida Begum, Sahadara Mannan and Begum Kaniz Fatema Ahmed attended the meeting.
