There has never been a more expensive action thriller in the history of Indian cinema! Ever since the trailer of War 2 was released, it has created a storm online.
The excitement of seeing HrithikRoshan and Jr. NTR together is at its peak, and the film’s scale, visuals, and glimpses of six massive action sequences have stunned audiences. However, surpassing all discussions is now the film’s staggering budget-which will shock anyone. With a production cost of 400 crore, War 2 has become India’s most expensive spy thriller.
A trade source told Bollywood Hungama, “War 2 has surpassed everything, including Tiger 3 (350 crore) and Pathaan (325 crore). And this budget doesn’t even include the marketing and promotional expenses yet!”
Jr. NTR has charged 70 crore as remuneration, while HrithikRoshan has taken 50 crore, along with a profit-sharing deal for the film. KiaraAdvani received 15 crore, Anil Kapoor 10 crore, and director AyanMukerji was paid 30 crore. Just the payments for the cast and director alone amount to 150 crore!
