Former editor of Bangla-language daily ‘Bhorer Kagaj’ Benzir Ahmed has died of a heart attack in a Dhaka hospital. He passed away at the Ibne Sina Hospital in Dhanmondi around 4:15am on Tuesday, his sister Nazmun Nahar said. He was 68. The aiding editor was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit for the last three months, Nahar said. He hailed from Pabna’s Ishwardi. His body has been kept at BIRDEM hospital. —bdnews24.com
