The joint annual convention of the Lions Club of Dhaka FESS and the Lions Club of Dhaka Protesting Voice, under Lions International District 315A1, was held successfully on Friday, June 20, in the capital, bringing together members in a spirited and joyful gathering.
The convention took place at the Manin Korai Gosto Chinese Restaurant on Sonargaon Road, where club members celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm and unity. The event served as a platform to reflect on the clubs’ activities over the past year and to elect new leadership for the 2025–26 term.
The program was jointly presided over by Lion Sadat Ferdous and Engineer Aminul Ahsan.
Through direct voting by club members, Lion Fahad Ferdous and Abu Saud were elected as presidents for the upcoming term. Lion Md. Moshiuzzaman and Atia were chosen as club secretaries, while Lion Shahadat and Nafiur Rahman were elected as treasurers. Several other officers were also elected to key leadership roles within the clubs.
The event underscored the commitment of both clubs to service, leadership, and community development under the global mission of Lions Clubs International.
