A student of Jagannath University (JnU) allegedly committed suicide at her own residence in Bashabo area under Sabujbag police station in the capital on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Indrani(21), daughter of Sunil Kumar. She was a 3rd year student of History Department at JnU.
The family members took her in a critical condition to Dhaka
Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). But she died in the evening at 6.00 pm in the hospital.
Later, police sent her body to DMCH morgue for an autopsy.
