JCIAD, Japanese Assoc contribute to flood victims

The Japanese Commerce & Industry Association in Dhaka (JCIAD, Shoo-Koo-Kai in Japanese) and the Japanese Association in Dhaka donated of Tk2 lakh to support individuals and families affected by flood insecurity in Bangladesh through Red Crescent Society, Bangladesh. This contribution is part of ongoing commitment to humanitarian aid and community support to the people of Bangladesh.
“We are honored to contribute to the well-being of the people in Bangladesh,” said Atsushi Hirakuri, president of JCIAD, while he handed over the check to Dr. Kabir Md. Ashfar Alam, secretary general of Red Crescent Society, at the headquarters of Red Crescent Society in Dhaka.
Dr Alam said: “The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society has been at the forefront of disaster response and humanitarian aid in the country.
