Jaya’s ‘Dear Ma’ hits Kolkata theatres

Popular Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan’s new film ‘Dear Ma’ has been released in theatres across Kolkata. The film, directed by noted Indian filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, opened on Friday and revolves around the emotional bond between a mother and her daughter.

Jaya Ahsan plays the role of a mother in the film, a character she is portraying for the first time in her career. Opposite her is Indian actor Chandan Roy Sanal, who plays a significant role in the story.
