Jatiyo Party (JP) Chairman and leader of the opposition of the Parliament Ghulam Muhammed Quader on Tuesday announced his support to the anti-quota movement over a statement.
He also strongly condemned the armed attacks against the students of the anti-quota movement across the country.
GM Quader said in the statement that the quota system in the job is against the constitution.
Supporting the anti-quota movement he labeled the agitated students as
‘Hero Freedom Fighter (Bir Mukti Sena).’
The JP Chairman said that the anti-quota movement is a very logical. Not all people in society like discrimination.
The current regime has made a section of people benefited by creating discrimination in the name of quota system. To get rid of the discrimination, the students started agitation.
GM Quader said asked the government to accept the demands of the agitating students and let them know that.
“If the government does not accept their demand, the country may face confrontations in near future,” he said.
