The drama titled ‘Private Hujur’ directed by the dramatist Ziauddin Alam was released on a YouTube channel recently. The story of the drama is the director’s own. Screenplay and dialogues of the drama are written by Shamim Shikder. Jamil Hossain and Lamima Lam played the two main roles in the drama.
While talking about the drama, its director Ziauddin Alam told this correspondent, “We have heard the stories of private teachers at different times or know the stories of private teachers. But we do not know the story of ‘Private Hujur’. ‘Private Hujur’ created by me is just like a story drama, the story of which many people may know. But it never came to light. When the idea of the story came to my mind a few days ago, I discussed it with Shamim Shikder. He also enjoyed listening to the original story. After writing the story of the drama, a very nice form stands and after that I made the drama. According to the story, I feel that Jamil Hossain will be perfect as ‘Private Hujur’. That’s why I made the drama about him and Lamia Lam as his student opposite him. Both of them have acted well in the drama. I believe the audience will like the drama.”
Actor Jamila Hossain said, “The director of the drama has tried to make the play properly according to the story. My character is also different. I tried to do the work with mind. I hope viewers will enjoy the drama.”
On the other hand, actress Lamima Lam shared her feelings by this way, “I enjoyed working under the direction of Ziauddin Alam Bhai. The story is different because that’s why I actually did the work. I believe the audience will like the drama because viewers want to watch a drama with a slightly different story. ‘Private Hujur’ is just such a drama.”
