Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team began his coaching camp for the footballers of Bangladesh preliminary squad at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
Jamie Day arrived in the city from England on Thursday last. He officially started his training camp from Sunday.
Jamie said, ” I was waiting when I can return to the field. I feel good as I returned to the field. The players are also highly delighted.”
He said, ” Most of the players have been working hard. I watched that some booters improved their fitness level. The other footballers have lacking for their fitness level. I have some time to work with them. I have to bring them in a better position.”
Jamie Day worked with the players of Bangladesh Football team for Bangladesh’s match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2022 and Asian Cup Qualifiers 2023. But the matches were postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. So, the coaching camp was also postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
After that Jamie Day left the city for England. After a long time, the newsmen saw the English-born Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team. He is looking different. He became little bit bulky. His hair became long.
Bangladesh will play two FIFA international friendly matches against Nepal on November 13 and November 17 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Marking the upcoming international friendly matches, Bangladesh Football Federation has arranged a coaching camp under supervision of Head Coach Jamie Day.
