A garden meeting was held at Ghaniamora and Gabtala of Fulgazi Sadar Union at the initiative of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sadar Union branches.
Feni-1 (Fulgazi-Parshuram-Chagalnaiya) constituency MP candidate S. M. Kamal Uddin was present as the chief guest at the meeting on Saturday afternoon.
Jamaat-nominated Fulgazi Upazila Chairman candidate Maulana Shamsul Haque was present as the special guest.
Sadar Union Jamaat Ameer Abul Kalam Shamim presided over the meeting.
At this time, local leaders and activists called for strengthening organizational activities, increasing public relations and campaigning for Islamic ideals among voters in view of the upcoming national elections.
The speakers said that there is no alternative to Jamaat in establishing an Islamic-based society.
Everyone must work together to ensure the victory of the party candidates to protect the rights of the people.
Union and ward level leaders and prominent people of the area were present at the event.
