Sylhet Bureau :
Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat stands by 11 students of Daldali Tea Garden in Sylhet.
On Friday (September 12), after Jumma prayers, the Metropolitan Jamaat provided the necessary money for admission fees, new dresses and bags to 11 SSC-passed students of Daldali Tea Garden in Ward No. 5 of Sylhet city. In addition, the Jamaat provided a ceiling fan for Daldali Tea Garden Durga Mandir School in the city.
Jamaat’s Central Working Committee member and Sylhet Metropolitan Ameer Muhammad Fakhrul Islam was present as the chief guest during the financial assistance.
In his speech as the chief guest, he said that the mass uprising of July-August 24 was with the determination to build a Bangladesh without discrimination. However, despite passing SSC and getting the opportunity to get admission in class XI, 11 students from Daldali tea gardens could not get admission due to lack of money, which is sad and worrying for us.
Thank you to the media for highlighting this crisis of students. Due to which we got the opportunity to stand by them. Jamaat has ensured admission of 11 students in class XI. Jamaat wants to build a humane Bangladesh without discrimination for everyone, regardless of party, creed, religion or caste.
We want to assure you that if Jamaat comes to power with your cooperation, no student will stop studying due to lack of money.
