Jamaat seeks clear election roadmap from govt

Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, ex-MP Professor Md. Mujibur Rahman said, Jamaat has called on the government to announce a clear election roadmap saying that a fair, and neutral election is the only way to earn the people’s trust. For a election, the processes of justice and reform must be implemented.
The students and people have sacrificed their lives in the fight against fascist Sheikh Hasina’s rule in the country, and they are ready to risk their lives again to protect their voting rights.
Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Md. Mujibur Rahman was address a Workers Conference,organised by district Jamaat -e-Islami at local old Stadium ground on Saturday, while district Ameer Professor Md. Ramzan Ali in the chair.
Professor Mujibur Rahman also said, The trial of ATM Azharul Islam has been a fair trial. Those who unjustly killed Jamaat leaders in the name of trial, that party and all those associated with them should be tried. We will tell the government that first there will be trial, then reforms, and then elections.”
It was addressed among others, Central Committee Publicity Secretary Matiur Rahman Akand, Organizing Secretary Dr. Samiul Haque Farooqui, and Dhaka Metropolitan South Branch Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Colnol (Retd) Professor dr. Zihad khan, former district Ameer Principle (Retd.) Moulona Md. Toyebuzzaman, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Mosaddek Ali, and Shamsul Alam Selim.
On the occasion, of the Workers’ conference, at least ten thousands , leaders and activists from 13 upazilas of the district participated in processions from the morning. During this, Professor Mujibur Rahman introduced the candidates for the six constituencies of Kishoreganj to everyone.
