Jamaat, NCP mourn casualties in aircraft

Jamaat-e-Islami and The National Citizen Party (NCP) expressed deep shock and sorrow at casualties in the crash of a training fighter jet of the Bangladesh Air Force on Milestone School and College in the capital, Uttara Diabari on Monday.

Jamaat-e-Islami, in a statement, said, “May Allah have mercy on those who lost their lives, forgive them, and grant them the honour of “martyrdom and the highest rank in Paradise. May Allah grant the injured a swift and complete recovery and shower them with His boundless blessings.”

The party’s senior joint convener Ariful Islam Adib urged the government to ensure proper treatment of the injured and provide proper assistance to the families of the deceased.
On behalf of the NCP, he prayed for the eternal peace of the souls of the deceased and called for necessary measures to be taken to avert such accidents in future.
