On the occasion of the Durga Puja, local Jamaat leaders visited various puja mandap in Fulgazi Sadar Union of Feni. On Tuesday afternoon, September 30, they visited various puja mandap in Bairagpur, Daulatpur, Sreepur, Banikpara and Bashura areas of Sadar.
During the visit, they observed the overall situation in the puja mandap. They inquired about the overall aspects including law and order situation, electricity and security arrangements, especially focusing on the celebration of puja.
The leaders exchanged views with the locals and emphasized on maintaining religious harmony.
Present at the event were Jamaat-nominated Feni-1 constituency MP candidate Advocate SM Kamal Uddin, Fulgazi Upazila Jamaat Ameer Jamal Uddin Chowdhury, Upazila Jamaat Nayeb Ameer Abul Hossain Miyaji, Sadar Union Jamaat Ameer Abul Kalam Shamim and upazila and union level leaders.
Advocate SM Kamal Uddin said, Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. People of all religions have been peacefully observing their religious rituals here. Jamaat is always committed to protecting this harmony.
