Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat has held a protest rally in the city to protest the conspiracy, propaganda and lies against Jamaat leaders in Sadapathar looting incident.

Jamaat’s Central Majlis-e-Shura member, Sylhet District Ameer and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Sylhet-1 constituency Maulana Habibur Rahman said – out of jealousy over Jamaat’s popularity, two Jamaat leaders from Sylhet have been systematically implicated in the Sadapathar looting incident. Our two brothers, stay away from this kind of activity. The administration is really responsible for the looting of stones. And it is the administration’s job to identify those responsible. But some yellow media have resorted to defaming the character of Jamaat leaders, citing a report allegedly by the ACC. The ACC must provide proof of this. Otherwise, they too will have to be held accountable to the people of Sylhet.
Ignoring the hostile weather and rain, the procession started from the city’s Court Point, circled important points, and ended at Chowhatta Point.
Speakers at the pre-procession rally said that even though fascism has fallen, the conspiracy against Jamaat has not stopped yet. The friends of the fallen fascist government have indulged in a despicable game to corrupt Jamaat. The friends of the dictatorship are still sitting in the administration and various organizations and agencies of the state and are hatching various conspiracies. News has been published in various national media outlets regarding this. As part of a far-reaching conspiracy, two leaders of Sylhet Jamaat have been implicated in the Sadapathar looting incident.
They said, we are noticing that the Awami Fascist allies have started becoming active in field politics in various ways under the banner of various social, cultural and environmental organizations. They are constantly insulting the July Uprising and the July fighters in various ways. There are also cases against them in the July-August movement. However, they are freely participating in various programs held in the presence of senior administration officials and are conspiring in various ways. The involvement of Jamaat leaders in the Sadapathar incident is an expression of their conspiracy. They should be boycotted from all kinds of programs. Those who opposed the July movement should be brought to justice.
Naib-e-Ameer of Sylhet Metropolitan Jamaat Dr. Nurul Islam Babul presided over and Assistant Secretary Jahedur Rahman Chowdhury conducted the programme.
Metropolitan Assistant Secretary Advocate Abdur Rob, Sylhet Metropolitan Workers Welfare Federation President Advocate Jamil Ahmed Raju and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Sylhet Metropolitan President Shahin Ahmed also spoke the Protest rally.
