With the aim of realising a five-point demand including holding a referendum through the implementation of the July National Charter, a human chain has been organised by Sherpur District Jamaat-e-Islami.
The human chain is held on Wednesday morning in front of the main gates of the Sherpur Court, Superintendent of Police Office and Deputy Commissioner’s Office, presided over by Sherpur District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Hafizur Rahman.
Speakers at the human chain say that many political friends do not want to understand the PR system. But Jamaat has never misled the people by waging any movement with irrational demands.
It is tested before the nation. Later, friends from other political parties realise that Jamaat’s demand was right.
Therefore, we would like to tell our political friends that to prevent another form of fascism, let us all learn to understand the PR system and present our country as a model of development before the world through the practice of true democracy.
The speakers also say that without betraying the blood of the July fighters, let us cooperate with this government to make visible justice for all the oppression, persecution, genocide, and corruption committed by the fascist regime.
