UpazilaJamaat-e-Islami stands by helpless daily wage laborer Md. Hanai Mia of Naljuri Madhya Para of PurbaJaflong Union of GowainghatUpazila in Sylhet.
Almost a year ago, Hanai Mia’s house was burnt to ashes in a short circuit. Working as a daily wage laborer, he was unable to build a new house. When the matter came to the attention of GowainghatJamaat, local leaders initiated financial assistance and tin in the presence of AlhajJoynal Abedin, Assistant Secretary of District Jamaat and former Chairman of JaintapurUpazilaParishad, MP candidate for Sylhet-4 constituency.
Present at the financial assistance and tin distribution ceremony on Tuesday afternoon were UpazilaJamaat Ameer Abul Hussain, JaintapurUpazila Ameer Golam Kibria, GowainghatJamaatNayeb Ameer Abdun Noor, East Jaflong Union Jamaat President Nazimuddin, Upazila Workers Welfare Federation Secretary Imran Ahmed, Ward Jamaat Secretaries Anwar Hussain, Monir Hussain and prominent Murbbib Abdul Khaliq of the area.
