The RCC internal road construction at Jaldhaka Government Degree College in Nilphamari, costing 20 lakh taka, is progressing rapidly.
The work is nearly complete five months ahead of the scheduled deadline, which has been appreciated by both the college authorities and students.
During this time, the construction work was inspected by Hazarul Islam, Executive Engineer of Nilphamari Education Engineering Department, and Jahangir Alam, Lecturer at Jaldhaka Government Degree College.
It is learned that this important internal road is being constructed to facilitate the movement of the college’s teachers, students, and staff.
The construction contract was awarded to the firm Fahim & Huma Traders, and under their supervision, the work is being carried out while maintaining quality standards.
Regarding the progress of the road construction, Sub-Assistant Engineer of Jaldhaka Upazila, Sabuj Hossain, said, “We are completing the road construction at a rapid pace.
Although five months remain until the deadline, we hope to finish the work very soon in the interest of the public.”
He further added that this road is an important addition to the college’s infrastructure development.
Completing the work well ahead of schedule will solve a long-standing problem of the institution.
Once this RCC internal road is fully operational, it will improve the overall communication.
