An advocacy dialogue on Operating diversified opportunities in mass mitigation of obstacles of girls education (ODOMMO), arranged by Jaago Foundation, an NGO support MALALA Foundation Trust held at Popi -part conference room on Monday.
Dialogue on challenge and solution in girls education in haor areas of Kishoreganj.
Haor areas lags behind in indicators of women ‘s education, child marriage, gender based violence and social inequality.
The dialogue discussion these issues ans aimed to find solutions to remove barriers to girls ‘ education in the haor region.
Korvi Rakshand, Chairman of Jaago Foundation Trust presided over. It was addressed among others by District Education Officer (DEO) Maksudha Sultana, Deputy Director (DD) of Women Affairs Mamunue Rashid , Deputy Director (DD) of Social Services Md. Kamruzzaman khan, District Primary Education Officer (DPEO) Mujibul Alam, Assistant Director (AD) of Mass Education Programme, Senior Journalist Alam Sarowar Tito, BRAC, district manager Shafiul Islam, POPI district coordinator Faridul and journalist Tafsil Aziz and others dignified persons.
Jaago Foundation chairman Korvi Rakshand said that We believes that education is the most powerful tool for changing the world,through the ODOMMO project and working to improve the quality of education for girls.
