West Bengal actress Debchandrima Singha Roy is currently having a very busy time, working in two different industries simultaneously, from Kolkata to Mumbai. She is a familiar face in Bengali serials, and is now working in Hindi serials as well.
In a recent interview with the Indian media, he spoke candidly about his career path, personal life, and various aspects of his relationships with fellow artistes. Regarding her daily commute between Mumbai and Kolkata, Devchandrima said, “This is what I wanted. Let life be spent running around between works. I love to travel anyway, so there is no problem.”
Regarding the difference in the work style of the two industries, the actress said, “Actually, the work style is not that different, it is just a matter of words. In Bengali, you have to work on a very low budget. In Mumbai, that problem is not there. However, there is no shortage of concepts in Bengali; it is just a bit difficult to implement them. In Mumbai, the professionalism is a bit higher. Everyone has to go through the audition process there.”
