Islami Bank wins top remittance award for 2024-25

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC secured first position in the Remittance Award 2026, conferred by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, for collecting the highest amount of remittance in the 2024-25 fiscal year, acoording to a press release.

The award was handed over by Dr Asif Nazrul, adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, to Managing Director Md Omar Faruk Khan at a ceremony held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Wednesday,marking International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2025.

Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam, Senior Vice President Md Motahar Hossain Mollah and Mohammad Shahadat Hossain of the bank were present on the occasion.
