The Chancery of the Bangladesh High Commission in Pakistan has been shifted to its own building in the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad.
All services, including consular services, of the High Commission from 1 October 2025 are now being provided from the new address, a press release said.
The new address of the Islamabad high commission is Block-15, Street No. 33, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad-44000. Phone No. – 051-2279267, Fax: 051-2279266 and email: [email protected].
The announcement was formally made by First Secretary and Head of Chancery (HOC) of the Bangladesh High Commission Khadiza Akhter.
The relocation of the chancery came at a time when the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Pakistan is gaining new momentum in multifaceted arenas including trade and commerce.
Both countries are working to explore new areas of mutual cooperation and the state level visits have already been started. Recently Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar visited Bangladesh to open new avenues of relations.
The warm relations was on the shelf during Awami League government which has been toppled in a mass uprising in July last year.
