The younger brother was killed in the hammer of the elder brother in Ishwardi.
The tragic incident took place on Thursday at Lakhikunda village of Lakshikunda Union in Ishwardi upazila.
The deceased was identified as Dipu Sardar, (30), son of Rikat Sardar of the village.
Officer -in -charge of the Ishwardi police station said that the younger brother had died in the attack by his elder brother Monirul Sardar (38) due to a family dispute.
It is learned that Rikat Sardar’s elder son Monirul Sardar and younger son Dipu Sardar were disputed over the issue of houses and land.
Often, it was a dispute between them, a clash between them.
In the meantime, there were intense clashes between the two brothers on Thursday morning.
At one point in the blow, Dipu hit the elder brother Monirul with a wooden buttum.
Enraged by this, older brother Monirul hit the younger brother Dipur Makha with an iron hammer. At that time, Monirul’s two hands were cut off.
The younger brother, Dipu, died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in ambulance with serious injuries.
The injured Monirul was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in CNG. The body of the deceased Dipur was brought to his home in an ambulance.
