Entertainment Report :
Popular small screen actor Irfan Sajjad has won the most praise by acting in television dramas. As an actor, he has made a place in the hearts of the audience by acting in several dramas. This Chattogram’s performer has a reputation in the media as a humble, gentle and modest person. The talented actor was earlier seen in Tania Ahmed’s film ‘Bhalobasa Emoni’ and Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar’s movie ‘Mon Janena Moner Thikana’. Later, after a long break, he played the title role in the talented director Biplob Haider’s movie titled ‘Ali’. After that he acted in another movie ‘Bhoyal’ of the same director.
The film ‘Bhoyal’ was released in around 10 cinema halls of the capital and several other cinema halls outside Dhaka last Friday. Present generation’s TV actress Aisha Khan acted opposite Irfan Sajjad in this movie.
Earlier, Aisha acted in several dramas with Irfan Sajjad. But this is the first time they acted together in the movie. Irfan Sajjad played the role of Sujon
in the movie.
Although the overall situation in the country is not favorable for going to the cinema halls, however, as much as the ‘Bhoyal’ team expected the audience to go to the cinema hall and enjoy the movie, this expectation has been fulfilled to a large extent.
Everyone who went to the cinema hall and enjoyed the movie praised Irfan Sajjad for his impeccable performance in role of Sujon.
While talking about ‘Bhoyal’, Irfan Sajjad told this correspondent, “In this drought season of movies, the fact that many viewers have gone to the cinema halls and enjoyed the movie – this is a very nice thing for us. We got 60 per cent of the number of audiences we expected. In the meantime, this week several more cinema halls outside Dhaka are joining to screen the movie ‘Bhoyal’. I got good response for my performance, Alhamdulillah. Especially those who are known to me, they called me and gave me messages after watching ‘Bhoyal’. There are many people who expressed their loves for me on Facebook. So, this is a really good thing for me. I thank director Biplob Haider for thinking of me, giving me the opportunity to work in film ‘Ali’ and later in the movie ‘Bhoyal’. I believe that if he had a more like-minded producer, he could have done much better because I have seen him thinking about nothing else except making. He wants to stay engaged in direction.”
Irfan Sajjad also said that on the occasion of upcoming Eid and Valentine’s Day, he will work in some dramas and web films on OTT platforms.
