The 13th meeting of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) of Khulna University was held in the meeting room of the administrative building on Friday. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the committee, Vice -Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, who is also the Vice Chancellor.
The meeting included reading and approval of the minutes of the 12th QAC meeting, details of participation of IQAC directors and additional directors in various trainings, details of various trainings and workshops organized by IQAC, detailed discussion of the proposed budget and expenditure, presentation of accreditation updates, discussion on the future work plan of IQAC and opinions/suggestions of QAC members.
In the meeting, the Vice Chancellor was informed about the progress of various activities of the QAC Committee and gave several directions. He said that IQAC should play an active role in implementing the criteria of Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) to ensure the accreditation of Khulna University’s programs. He also commented that it is important to identify limitations and potential progress by nominating criteria-based representatives in each discipline.
He also emphasized on the timely and planned management of IQAC’s activities. After the discussion in the meeting, it was emphasized to present the plans, achievements and progress of the activities taken by IQAC every three months and to organize regular meetings.
