All types of inter-district public transport services are allowed to operate. However, transport owners have to carry 50 percent passengers of their capacity.
The information was given in an order signed by Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet Division Rezaul Islam on Sunday.
It also said that the ongoing restriction due to the coronavirus pandemic has been extended until May 30.
The government imposed restrictions from April 5 to 11 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. It was then extended till April 13. From April 14, the ‘strict’ restrictions had been imposed.
Meanwhile, the duration of the restriction was extended several times by imposing and relaxing various conditions. The last gazette notification to extend the restrictions was issued on May 16.
