The general point-to-point inflation rate in Bangladesh rose in October, reaching 10.87 per cent, up from 9.92 per cent in September, 2024.
According to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the increase was driven by a rise in food inflation, which jumped to 12.66 per cent from 10.40 per cent.
Meanwhile, non-food inflation showed a slight decline, easing to 9.34 per cent in October from 9.50 per cent in September.
