Indian Assistant High Commission office is opening soon in Rangpur. On Saturday afternoon, a meeting of Rangpur Chamber leaders with Manoj Kumar, Assistant High Commissioner of Indian Embassy in Rajshahi regarding the selection of office space was held at RCCI Auditorium of Chamber Bhavan.
Rangpur Chamber Senior Vice President and Acting President Abu Hena Md. Rezwanul Karim presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, Assistant High Commissioner of Indian Embassy in Rajshahi, Manoj Kumar, said that the government of Indian Prime Minister NarendraModi has taken the initiative to open a new Assistant High Commission office in Rangpur, a divisional city in the northwestern region of Bangladesh, for the convenience of the people of Rangpur Division.
For this, he informed the meeting that on the instructions of the Indian Embassy in Dhaka, the new Indian Assistant High Commission office in Rangpur will be established quickly in different locations of Rangpur city.
